How you'll make an impact in this role
Design and execute tailored recovery plans: Assess patients' independent living skills to create, implement, and adjust individualized treatment strategies using appropriate clinical modalities.
Empower patients and families: Educate individuals and caregivers on managing functional limitations, navigating discharge transitions, and safely using adaptive equipment and community support resources.
Maintain clinical quality and compliance: Document patient milestones precisely while overseeing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and therapy techs to ensure seamless, compliant care delivery.
Drive collaborative care transitions: Consult regularly with the broader healthcare team to continuously evaluate progress, refine care plans, and ensure safe, timely discharges from therapy services.
What minimum qualifications you'll need
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Education:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
