The Social Worker LICSW evaluates, diagnoses, and treats psychosocial problems, assisting patients and families with issues stemming from mental or physical illness to achieve optimal functioning. They actively participate in the interdisciplinary care team to eliminate barriers to treatment and improve patient flow and outcomes.
Candidates must possess a Master's degree in social work and hold a current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work (LICSW) license from the State of RI Board of Social Work Licensure. A minimum of six months to one year of clinical experience, preferably in a health or mental health setting, is required.
