Key Responsibilities
The SATS Counselor will maintain a caseload, facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, and complete clinical assessments including SBIRT and ASAM. They are responsible for developing treatment plans, monitoring client compliance, and ensuring all documentation meets contract requirements.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Alaska State Counselor Technician Certification or equivalent and be able to obtain CDCI certification within one year. The role requires passing an ADOC background check, PREA screening, and possessing knowledge of substance-related and addictive disorders.
