Join Jefferson Health Plans as a Speech Therapist (Per Diem) Jefferson Abington in Abington, Pennsylvania. Job Details The Staff Speech Language Pathologist are responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning of all patients referred for their given services. The Speech Therapist is an integral healthcare provider accountable to assist the patient to their highest level of function.

Key Responsibilities

Staff Speech Language Pathologists are responsible for the evaluation, treatment, and discharge planning for all referred patients, aiming to assist them to their highest level of function. This includes providing therapy evaluations, treatment planning, interventions, and participating in student education.

Requirements

A Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology is required, along with 0-2 years of clinical practice. Candidates must possess the ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology and a valid State License, in addition to current CPR certification.
