Key Responsibilities
The SATS Counselor will maintain a caseload, facilitate group and individual counseling sessions, and complete clinical assessments. They are responsible for ensuring compliance with ADOC contract obligations and developing treatment and reentry plans for clients.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an Alaska State Counselor Technician Certification or equivalent and possess knowledge of substance-related and addictive disorders. Applicants must also be able to pass an ADOC background check and PREA screening.
