Key Responsibilities

The Outpatient Therapist assists in coordinating, planning, implementing, and facilitating outpatient counseling programs, which may involve individual, group, family counseling, crisis services, and tele-therapy. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, facilitating treatment, providing crisis intervention for mental health or dual diagnoses issues, and offering community education services.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a Master's degree and specific state licenses such as LCSW, LPC, LPC-MH, LCSW-PIP, LMFT, or LAC, depending on the therapist level, with some licenses required upon hire and others within 30 days. Preferred qualifications include 3 years of related experience, clinical experience in group and individual counseling, and experience with dual diagnoses and family therapy.
