Join Avera Health as a Outpatient Counselor – $10K Sign-On Bonus in United States. Location: Avera St Luke's Hospital Worker Type: Regular Work Shift: Primarily days with possible weekends/evenings/holidays (United States of America) Pay Range: The pay range for this position is listed below. Actual pay rate dependent upon experience.

Key Responsibilities

include performing substance abuse screenings, assessments, assess treatment needs and therapeutic intervention to adolescents and adults regarding substance abuse problems.

As part of a multidisciplinary treatment team, the Counselor develops and implements measurable individualized treatment goals and modalities.

Performs crisis intervention to minimize relapse potential and support goals of treatment plan.

Must have the ability to clearly communicate, orally and in writing, and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, staff, other agencies, and the community.

secondary school in a behavioral science field Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC)
