Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to phone questions from patients, families or members of the interdisciplinary team, including hospice nurses, for treatment options.
  • Document and bill appropriately for services.

Requirements

  • ​​​​​​Your Qualifications: Master’s in nursing with specialization in Adult, Geriatric or Family Medicine, Oncology or closely related fields.
  • Active Maryland NP License and State and Federal controlled substance registration.
  • Board certification in Hospice and Palliative Care required within 2 years of employment.
  • DEA and Controlled substance registration, in good standing Interest in education of ‘next gen’ providers such as nurse practitioner students.
