- Other Qualifications: First assist experience must be within past 2 years
Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide full-scope midwifery care including intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting
- Perform first assist duties during deliveries
- Provide postpartum care and well-woman gynecologic exams across the lifespan
- Support patients throughout labor and delivery
- Collaborate with 24-hour in-house OB/GYN support and Level III NICU team
Key Responsibilities
Provide full-scope midwifery care including intrapartum, postpartum, and OB triage in a hospital setting. Perform first assist duties during deliveries and collaborate with the OB/GYN and NICU teams.
Requirements
Requires an active Texas Medical License, Board Certification, and an active Texas DEA. Candidates must have at least 2 years of full-scope midwifery experience and recent first assist experience.
