Job Description

Park Nicollet is looking to hire a Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our
team!  Come join us as a Partner for Good and help us make an impact on the care
and experience that our patients and their families receive every day.

The staff respiratory therapist is responsible for the pulmonary care of those
patients assigned to them. This care will include initiation and implementation
of a pulmonary care plan, with the supervision of or in consultation with a
physician. Aspects of care provided include assessments, diagnostics, treatment,
education, and discharge planning. The advanced credential RRT is required to
fulfill the special roles of bronchoscopy support, pulmonary diagnostics, and
pulmonary rehab. 

Minimum Qualifications

Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination

Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program. 

Licensure/ Registration/ Certification

* RRT credential (within 3 years of hire) 
* MN Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) registration, required. 
* Must have BLS and ACLS certification (within 6 months of hire)

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles
necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.

Requirements

Candidates must be graduates of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program and hold a MN Respiratory Care Practitioner registration. RRT credential, BLS, and ACLS certifications are required within specific timeframes of hire.
