Job Description

This outpatient opportunity offers extensive onboarding, graduated patient volumes, dedicated administrative time, and support as you expand your expertise in managing complex rheumatologic and musculoskeletal conditions.

You’ll have the stability of a Monday-through-Friday schedule, a comprehensive benefits package effective on day one, and financial support designed to help you grow your career and enjoy life in New Mexico.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide outpatient care for patients with rheumatoid arthritis, autoimmune diseases, osteoporosis, gout, and other musculoskeletal conditions
  • Manage an average of 16 to 18 patients per day
  • Collaborate with an experienced team of clinicians who meet regularly to discuss complex cases
  • Develop additional specialty expertise through extensive onboarding, training, and graduated patient volumes
  • Expand your procedural skills, including the potential to learn joint injections
  • Document and coordinate care through a systemwide electronic medical record

Additional Job Description

The minimum requirements are as follows:

For Nurse Practitioner - Masters degree in Nursing, New Mexico Nurse Practitioner license, federal and state DEA license and ANCC or AANP certification required.

For Physician Assistant - Baccalaureate prepared CAHEA Certified Physician Assistant or two (2) years working experience as a Certified Physician Assistant, and licensed by the New Mexico Board of Medical Examiners required.

Key Responsibilities

Provide outpatient care for patients with complex rheumatologic and musculoskeletal conditions while managing a daily patient volume of 16 to 18. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to discuss complex cases and document care within the electronic medical record system.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in New Mexico along with relevant certifications such as ANCC or AANP. A Master's degree in Nursing or a Baccalaureate degree for Physician Assistants is required.
