Key Responsibilities
The Advanced Registered Dietitian is responsible for assessing patient nutritional status and implementing medical nutrition therapy and care plans. They also collaborate with medical staff to monitor foodservice operations and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in nutritional science and maintain Dietetic Registration. A minimum of 7 years of clinical dietitian experience is required, though oncology experience or an advanced degree may reduce this requirement.
