Key Responsibilities
The Physical Therapist evaluates and treats patients with physical disabilities to restore function and relieve pain using therapeutic exercises and modalities. They are responsible for designing comprehensive rehabilitation plans, documenting patient progress, and educating patients and families on care and assistive devices.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy and a valid license to practice in the State of New York. BLS/CPR certification is required, and one year of outpatient physical therapy experience is preferred.
