Job Description

Northland Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center serving urban and rural communities across North Dakota. We are currently seeking Registered Dental Hygienists to join our care teams. This position is eligible for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) student loan repayment and offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Visit NHSC for more information.

The Registered Dental Hygienist provides comprehensive preventive and oral hygiene services to patients of the health center. This position supports overall oral health through patient education, preventive care, periodontal maintenance, and collaboration with the dental care team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide dental cleanings, periodontal maintenance, and preventive oral health services
  • Perform oral health assessments, charting, and diagnostic support
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene, treatment plans, and preventive care
  • Maintain infection control and aseptic techniques in accordance with established standards
  • Accurately document patient information in electronic dental records
  • Follow HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards
  • Collaborate with the dental team to support clinic workflow and a positive patient experience
