Key Responsibilities
The CRNA administers anesthesia to patients during surgical and clinical procedures under the supervision of a physician. They are responsible for assessing patients, documenting procedures, and ensuring patient safety throughout the care process.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master’s degree from an AANA-accredited nurse anesthesia school and possess an APRN license in the state of practice. Additionally, certification through the AANA and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification are required.
