Key Responsibilities

The Staff Pharmacist is responsible for accurately and safely dispensing all prescriptions while providing pharmaceutical patient care to ensure the highest level of therapeutic appropriateness for patients. Key duties include verifying safe medication administration, assessing critical medications, responding to palliative care needs, and conducting medication regimen reviews.

Requirements

Candidates must be currently licensed and in good standing with relevant provincial pharmacy colleges, such as the Ontario College of Pharmacists. Essential abilities include fostering strong healthcare team partnerships, effective organization, critical thinking, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
