Overview: A REHAB DIRECTOR / Occupational Therapist (OT/ OTR) position is now

available in our sub-acute/skilled nursing Rehab Department located in Portland,

ME.

Qualifications

Qualifications

A successful Rehab Director will

* Ensure efficient and effective operations

* Plan and implement rehabilitation programs and procedures to optimize patient

outcomes

* Monitor patient admissions, schedules, MDS assessment periods and data

* Provide administrative rehabilitation supervision

* Serve as a rehabilitation staff mentor

* Provide Occupational therapy services as needed

* Be a licensed OT or license eligible in the state where employed

* Have experience as a treating therapist in the Skilled Nursing Facility

setting

* The ideal candidate will have experience managing a SNF rehabilitation

department.

Key Responsibilities

The Rehab Director will ensure efficient operations by planning and implementing rehabilitation programs to optimize patient outcomes, while also monitoring patient admissions and data. This role involves providing administrative supervision and serving as a mentor to rehabilitation staff, in addition to providing Occupational Therapy services when necessary.
