Job Description

Northeast Medical Group, a member of Yale New Haven Health, is seeking a Per Diem OB/GYN Board Certified/Board Eligible Obstetrician-Gynecologist to join our growing Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. This position offers the opportunity to provide comprehensive women's healthcare while participating in medical education, resident training, quality initiatives, and scholarly activities within a nationally recognized health system.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality obstetrical and gynecologic care across inpatient and outpatient settings.
  • Supervise and teach residents in all aspects of OB/GYN practice, including labor and delivery, surgery, and continuity clinic experiences.
  • Educate Yale School of Medicine medical students in both clinical and didactic settings.
  • Provide oversight and collaboration with advanced practice providers.
  • Support departmental committees and clinical quality initiatives.
  • Participate in faculty development and continuing education programs.

Qualifications

  • Required
  • Medical Degree (MD or DO).
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
  • Current Connecticut medical license or ability to obtain licensure.
  • Eligibility for specialty-appropriate clinical privileges and medical staff appointment.
  • Strong clinical skills in general obstetrics and gynecology, including minimally invasive surgery.
  • Experience or interest in resident and medical student education.
  • Preferred
  • Interest or experience in gynecologic ultrasound.
  • Experience with clinical research methodology and statistics.
  • Interest in family planning services.
