You'll be at the center of the diagnostic process — producing high-quality radiographs that directly inform patient care and surgical decisions, while working closely with physicians and clinical staff to deliver the seamless, patient-first experience OrthoNY is known for.

General Description
The Radiologic Technologist will be instrumental in generating high-quality diagnostic medical radiographs, contributing significantly to the accuracy of diagnoses and the delivery of exceptional patient care.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
* Document an appropriate patient history containing pertinent patient information regarding their condition and including patient limitations;
* Prepare patient for procedure providing instruction and education;
* Select and operate equipment; recognize essential condition for successful completion of procedure;
* Perform Medical Assistant duties when required such as cast removal, stitches and staple removal, dressing changes and other patient needs;
* Assisting physician in patient care as requested;
* Other responsibilities as needed.
Qualifications
* Minimum of graduation from an accredited school in radiologic technology;
* Unrestricted NYS Radiologic Technologist license in NYS;
* ARRT Certification;
* 1- 2 years of Radiologic Technology experience preferred
* Excellent communication and customer service skills;
* CPR/BLS preferred
Other Information
* Ability to travel to various OrthoNY locations if needed. Reliable transportation is essential.
