Key Responsibilities
The Behavioral Health Technician assists patients with daily living activities and provides direct patient care, including diagnostic procedures and therapeutic interventions. They are also responsible for observing and documenting patient behavior and reporting any changes to the treatment team.
Requirements
Candidates must have a high school diploma with two years of experience, an associate degree, or four years of relevant experience. A BLS provider certification is required within 30 days of hire, while CPI and Nurse Aide certifications are preferred.
