Job Description

Provide comprehensive dental care within a collaborative outpatient healthcare environment supporting U. S. government personnel in Iraq. Working alongside dental assistants, multidisciplinary healthcare teams, and operational leadership, this Dentist role combines preventive, restorative, and emergency dental services with patient education and continuity of care in a professionally supported international practice setting.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive dental evaluations, diagnosis, and treatment across a wide range of routine, preventive, restorative, and urgent dental care needs.

Perform general dental procedures while supporting safe, efficient, and patient-centered treatment planning and care delivery.

Provide emergency dental treatment as needed, including temporary corrective procedures and urgent intervention support.

Educate patients on oral hygiene, preventive care practices, and long-term dental health maintenance.

Collaborate closely with dental support staff, clinical teams, and operational leadership to support continuity of care, documentation quality, and efficient clinic operations.

Maintain accurate patient records while adhering to clinical protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Requirements
• Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an ADA- or CODA-accredited program.

Current unrestricted U. S. dental license and successful completion of the National Board Dental Examinations (NBDE).

Current BLS certification and 3–5 years of recent general dentistry experience, including clinical practice within the past year.

U. S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with a valid passport

• Ability to obtain and maintain MRPT security clearance and meet pre-deployment physical requirements.

Compensation Disclaimer

Pay range is based on several factors and may vary in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Final salary and offer will be determined by the applicant’s background, experience, skills, internal equity, and alignment with geographical market data.
