Job Description

Where Clinicians Thrive: 4x Best Place to Work (2023–2026) | 4+ Star Employer on Glassdoor | Unmatched Culture | Up to $10K Sign On Bonus | In partnership with Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio - work with real Sports docs!

At Texas Physical Therapy Specialists, a member of the Confluent Health family, our SMASA partner locations offer a distinctive outpatient experience rooted in the long-standing excellence of Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio.

With deep community ties and a legacy of caring for athletes and active individuals, SMASA provides a high-level sports medicine environment with strong physician collaboration and trusted team coverage.

Clinicians work closely with physicians and support athletes across high school, university, and professional club programs, with meaningful exposure to performance-based rehabilitation and a culture built around mentorship and clinical growth.

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) or Fellowship (FAAOMPT) trained Clinician who is passionate about delivering evidence-based care while also helping develop the next generation of clinicians.

If you naturally find yourself coaching teammates or guiding students in the clinic, this role is a strong fit! You’ll play a key role in mentorship and development, working alongside a team that values clinical excellence, collaboration, and continuous growth.

With an average of 12 patients per day and a structured scheduling model that allows autonomy you'll be able to lead by example and provide truly excellent care.

We grow together. We laugh. We do meaningful work that impacts lives.

At Confluent Health and our family of affiliated brands, physical therapists practice in an environment built for high quality care, professional growth, and sustainable careers. We support clinicians with innovative tools, strong mentorship, and clear development pathways.

Pay down your student loans faster – up to $15K in repayment support through our student loan repayment program, paid directly to your loan servicer. Program details and offerings vary by location and role.

Benefits include generous paid time off, medical, dental, vision, disability, and 401(K) with a 4% employer match.

  • A care model designed to support quality outcomes and efficiency.
  • AI clinical documentation support, built to significantly reduce after hours charting – so work stays at work.
  • Structured mentorship and career development.
  • Industry-leading continuing education through Evidence in Motion (EIM).
  • Multiple career pathways: clinical excellence and leadership.
