About the Role

Join The Museum of Flight as a Camp Support Counselor – Seasonal in United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • of this position includes the execution of relevant themed programming emphasizing STEM subjects that include aviation, space, robotics, and beyond.
  • This role works collaboratively with camp leadership to facilitate best camp outcomes.
  • Success in this role requires an understanding and willingness to work with campers, such as those who are neuro-divergent and other diverse clientele.
  • Good communication skills and timely responses to emerging needs to provide excellent customer service is essential.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required. Associates Degree preferred.
  • Two (2) years of work experience in structured youth education programming. Prior experience in classroom, camps, experiential, formal or informal education preferred.
  • Work or other relevant experience working with youth with specific needs, specifically Autism, developmental delays, general anxiety, sensory processing disorders, and attention
  • deficit/hyperactivity disorders.

  • Salary: $50.4K - $51.5K

Work Schedule

  • Seasonal position.
  • Day shift only - no nights.
