Key Responsibilities

Core privileges include the ability to assess, evaluate, diagnose, perform history and physical examinations, and provide initial treatment to patients of all age groups presenting to the emergency department. Physicians are also encouraged to be involved in medical education and research to support patient care foundations.

Requirements

Applicants must possess an M.D. or D.O. degree and successfully complete an Emergency Medicine residency program accredited by ACGME, AOA, or RCPSC, along with appropriate specialty board certification. Applicants must demonstrate active practice in an emergency department with a census of at least 3,000 patient visits annually over the past 12 months.
