Key Responsibilities
The clinical pharmacist is responsible for the interpretation, evaluation, and dispensing of medications while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient care. They also oversee pharmacy support staff and participate in quality improvement initiatives and medication access programs.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and possess an unrestricted pharmacist license in the State of Rhode Island. Two to three years of related experience in a complex healthcare environment is preferred.
