Key Responsibilities

The clinical pharmacist is responsible for interpreting, preparing, and dispensing medications while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and cost-effective patient care. They also supervise pharmacy technicians, provide drug information, and participate in emergency code blue responses.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or a Doctor of Pharmacy degree and possess an unrestricted pharmacist license in Rhode Island. Completion of a PGY-1 residency and BLS/ACLS certifications are required or must be obtained within the specified timeframe.
