Key Responsibilities

The respiratory therapist will evaluate, treat, and monitor patients with breathing or cardiovascular disorders by managing ventilators and administering prescribed therapies. They are also expected to participate in critical care teams, respond to emergency calls, and educate patients and families on respiratory equipment.

Requirements

Candidates must hold an Associate's Degree in Respiratory Therapy and a valid Massachusetts State License. Proficiency in respiratory techniques and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting medical equipment are required.
