Job description
Join UChicago Medicine as a Occupational Therapist – Hospital at Home, PRN in Chicago, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities
- Conducts evaluations using appropriate tests and measurements to determine.
- Occupational therapy problems, functional levels, and recommended treatment plans.
- Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team to establish patient disposition.
- Occupational, psychosocial, and developmental needs of neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations. Includes patient goals in care plan.
Requirements
- Requires graduation from an approved occupational therapy school.
- Requires current occupational therapy license in the State of Illinois (or eligibility to practice) and NBCOT registered.
- Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Knowledge and skills necessary to provide patient care that is age-specific/appropriate for the types of patients served. Basic computer skills to allow access to operations and patient data.
