Family Nurse Practitioner PT

Join Resource Recovery Center of Orange County as a Family Nurse Practitioner PT in Town of Wallkill, New York.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct intake evaluation with relevant history, health assessment based on the patient’s signs & symptoms.

• On an ongoing basis, identify patient needs and make a differential diagnosis based on the clinical presentation, history and clinical findings.

• Provide systematic follow-up of patient progress and presentation, effectiveness of treatment provided, therapeutic processes used by evaluating outcomes and modifying treatments & management plans as necessary to achieve medical, substance use and mental health goals.

• Provide education & information and review risks benefits and alternatives to inform proper consent and as needed to make informed choices and support patient centered care, focusing on health promotion, disease prevention and treatment.

Requirements

• Master's or doctoral degree.

• Current/valid New York State Registered Nurse and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license.

• Currently registered as a registered professional nurse and FNP certification in good standing.

• Certified as a family nurse practitioner pursuant to § 6910, with prescription writing privileges pursuant to § 6902.3b of the Education Law.

Benefits & Compensation

• Pay rate: $80 - $100/hr.
