Job Description
Big Meadows Nursing Home is accepting applications for the Director of Nursing Position.

The Director of Nursing at Big Meadows is responsible for supervising nursing operations and implementing procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and oversight for all nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs)
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing policies and procedures
- Oversee staffing, scheduling, and performance management
- Lead infection control, quality assurance, and risk management programs
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social services, and interdisciplinary teams
- Monitor resident care plans and clinical outcomes
- Manage department budget and supplies
- Serve as primary contact during state surveys and audits
- Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment

Experience
- Nursing Management: 2 years (Preferred)
- Nursing: 5 years (Required)
- Dementia: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification
RN License (Required)

Requirements
Candidates must hold a valid Registered Nursing (RN) license and have at least 5 years of nursing experience. Prior experience in nursing management is preferred, and the ability to commute to the facility in Savanna, IL is required.
