Key Responsibilities
The extern is responsible for all Pulmonary Technician I duties, including maintaining and ensuring proper oxygen administration according to protocol. They will also administer routine respiratory care tasks such as nebulization, Chest PT, and IPPB, and perform diagnostic procedures like EKG and ABGs.
Requirements
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or GED and have completed vocational training in Respiratory Care, requiring a New Mexico Respiratory Care training permit. Applicants must be CRTT eligible or currently enrolled in an accredited respiratory program and must possess BLS Certification by the time of hire.
