Job Description
The Off-Site Counseling
[https://www.sheppardpratt.org/care-finder/off-site-counseling/] program
provides accessible behavioral and mental health support to children and
families in their homes, schools, or other convenient locations within Howard
County. Services include therapy, medication management, in-home and
school-based counseling, group therapy, and family therapy, all tailored to meet
individual and family needs. The program ensures flexible, high-quality care for
those facing barriers to traditional in-office treatment, promoting better
mental health and overall well-being.
What to expect.
We are seeking a licensed or pre-licensed counselor or social worker to provide
school-based and in-home individual and group therapy to children, adolescents,
and their families/support systems in Howard County, MD. This opportunity is a
partnership with Howard County Public Schools. This position offers not only a

Specific responsibilities include
* Provide behavioral and mental health support through individual, family, and
group therapy sessions in clients' homes, schools, or other convenient
locations.
* Conduct assessments to evaluate clients’ functional levels and develop
professional treatment plans tailored to their needs.
* Develops and updates treatment plans in collaboration with other team members
and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Completes thorough documentation and reports to ensure compliance with
regulatory standards and facilitates coordination of care.
* Availability for evening work 2 times a week to accommodate clients’
schedules and provide flexible, accessible care.
* Participate in weekly staff meetings and attend periodic training sessions to
improve clinical skills.
* Collaborate with school staff and other community providers to ensure
comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

What we need from you.
* Must be licensed or pre-licensed in Maryland as a:
* Licensed Certificated Social Worker – Clinical (LCSW-C)
* Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW)
* Licensed Graduate Professional Counselor (LGPC)
* Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not
limited to, license and years and level of related experience.
* LMSW & LGPC licensed therapists can expect to earn $66,000 to $68,000
maximum.
* LCSW-C & LCPC licensed therapists will be paid $80,000 to $82,000 maximum.
