Pediatric Physical Therapist
Job Description
White-Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist to provide evaluation and treatment services to infants, children, and adolescents with developmental, neurological, orthopedic, and functional mobility challenges. The Physical Therapist will work closely with patients and families to improve strength, coordination, movement, and overall physical function.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive physical therapy evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and measurable goals.
- Provide therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and functional independence.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and home exercise programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Requisition/Requirements
- Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Current Florida Physical Therapist license.
- Pediatric experience required.
- Experience treating developmental, neurological, and orthopedic conditions in children preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and patient education skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Current CPR certification required.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Doctorate or Master's degree in Physical Therapy and possess a current Florida Physical Therapist license. Previous pediatric experience is required, along with current CPR certification.
