Pediatric Occupational Therapist
Job Description
White-Wilson Medical Center is seeking a Pediatric Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services that help children develop, recover, and improve skills needed for daily living and independence. The therapist will evaluate developmental, sensory, motor, and functional abilities while working closely with families and healthcare providers.
Responsibilities
- Conduct pediatric occupational therapy evaluations.
- Develop individualized treatment plans and therapy goals.
- Provide interventions targeting fine motor, sensory, self-care, and developmental skills.
- Educate parents and caregivers on home programs and treatment strategies.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary team members.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
Requisition/Requirements
- Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Florida Occupational Therapist license.
- Pediatric experience required.
- Knowledge of sensory integration and developmental therapies.
- Strong communication and family-centered care skills.
- Ability to manage patient caseload effectively.
- Current CPR certification is required.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a degree in Occupational Therapy and a current Florida license. Pediatric experience and CPR certification are required for this position.
