Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist
Job Description
White-Wilson Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment services for pediatric patients with speech, language, voice, feeding, and swallowing disorders. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping children achieve developmental milestones and improve communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and assess speech, language, feeding, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide evidence-based therapy services to pediatric patients.
- Educate families regarding treatment goals and progress.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, educators, and caregivers.
- Participate in multidisciplinary care planning.
Requisition/Requirements
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current Florida Speech-Language Pathologist license.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred.
- Pediatric experience required.
- Knowledge of developmental milestones and pediatric communication disorders.
- Excellent interpersonal and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- CPR certification is required.
Requirements
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology and a current Florida state license. Previous pediatric experience and CPR certification are required for this position.
