Job Description
Hospice leadership is a calling, and we're looking for someone who feels it. At Interim HealthCare of Oklahoma City, our Hospice Director of Nursing leads a team that walks with patients and families through some of the most important days of their lives. You'll have the support of a locally owned, nurse- and Veteran-owned leadership team that values hospice work and the people who do it.
We've served Oklahoma City since 1999 and want a Hospice Director of Nursing who will lead with compassion, keep our program strong, and help our team do this hard, meaningful work well.

Schedule
- Full time, Monday through Friday
- Office based at NW 56th & Portland in Oklahoma City

What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day hospice clinical operations and patient care
- Run IDT meetings and keep plans of care current, personal and followed
- Hire, coach and develop hospice nurses, aides, social workers and chaplains
- Keep the program survey ready and compliant with Medicare hospice Conditions of Participation
- Support your team through on-call coverage, death visits and difficult family moments
- Be the clinical voice for our hospice program in Oklahoma City
What We're Looking For
- Active Oklahoma RN license
- At least 2 years of hospice experience
- Previous clinical management experience
- Working knowledge of Medicare hospice Conditions of Participation
- A calm, compassionate leader who takes care of the team as well as the patients

Key Responsibilities
The Hospice Director of Nursing leads day-to-day clinical operations and manages the interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care. They are responsible for maintaining program compliance with Medicare regulations and fostering the professional development of nursing and support staff.
Requirements
Candidates must hold an active Oklahoma RN license and possess at least two years of hospice experience. Previous clinical management experience and a working knowledge of Medicare hospice conditions of participation are also required.
