Key Responsibilities

The Mental Health Technician provides direct patient care and support under the supervision of nursing staff to maintain a therapeutic and safe environment. Responsibilities include assisting patients with daily activities and performing a variety of clinical and clerical tasks.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and obtain BCLS certification within 120 days of hire. Applicants must also meet specific training requirements equivalent to Unlicensed Assistive Personnel (UAP) regulations or demonstrate relevant clinical experience.
