Job Description

Morningstar Living is seeking a Per Diem Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to
join our in-house rehabilitation team at Moravian Hall Square in Nazareth, PA.
This is an excellent opportunity for a PTA looking for flexible scheduling,
meaningful resident relationships, and the ability to practice in a supportive
senior living environment.

As part of our rehabilitation team, you'll work with older adults across
short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, personal care, and outpatient
services, helping residents regain function, improve mobility, and maximize
independence.

What will I do as a Physical Therapist Assistant?

* Implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans under the
supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
* Assist residents and patients in restoring mobility, strength, balance, and
functional independence following illness, injury, or surgery.
* Monitor patient progress and communicate treatment responses to the
supervising Physical Therapist.
* Adapt treatment activities during therapy sessions in collaboration with the
Physical Therapist to support patient goals.
* Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises,
mobility techniques, and home programs.
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and
organizational standards.
* Collaborate with rehabilitation staff, nursing, physicians, and other
interdisciplinary team members to support positive outcomes.
* Contribute to a safe, dignified, and resident-focused care environment.

What do I need as a Physical Therapist Assistant?

* Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
* Current Pennsylvania Physical Therapist Assistant licensure required.
* Knowledge of physical therapy principles, treatment techniques, and
rehabilitation practices.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate
effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Experience working with older adults, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or
outpatient populations is preferred.
* Commitment to providing compassionate, resident-centered care and supporting
positive clinical outcomes.
