Key Responsibilities

The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will provide comprehensive orthopedic care in both ambulatory and inpatient settings, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment. Responsibilities also include daily rounding, managing hospital and ER consultations, and coordinating care with the multidisciplinary medical team.

Requirements

Candidates must have 1 to 2 years of experience in ER, urgent care, or orthopedics and hold a current Michigan license as an NP or PA. Required certifications include BLS and ACLS, along with national certification and appropriate DEA/controlled substance licensure.
