Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

PRN | Afternoons Only | Ladson, SC | Clinic-Based

Looking to add flexible pediatric SLP hours to your schedule without committing to a full-time position?

Tri-County Therapy (TCT) is a therapist-owned pediatric therapy practice serving children from birth through age 18 across South Carolina. Our Speech, Occupational, and Physical Therapy teams work collaboratively to help children build meaningful communication skills and greater independence in their everyday lives.

We are currently looking for a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Ladson clinic team for afternoon hours.

This is a great opportunity for an SLP who wants to maintain or expand their pediatric experience while working a flexible, clinic-based afternoon schedule with an established pediatric therapy team.

What You'll Do

As a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist at TCT, you'll evaluate and treat children with a variety of speech, language, communication, and feeding needs while partnering closely with their families and other members of their care team.

You'll Have Opportunities To

  • Evaluate and treat pediatric patients with speech, language, fluency, voice, feeding, and communication needs
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on each child's strengths and needs
  • Help children build meaningful, functional communication skills
  • Develop home programs and strategies to promote carryover outside of therapy
  • Educate and collaborate with parents and caregivers regarding treatment goals and progress

Assess and Support AAC Needs When Appropriate

  • Complete evaluations, daily documentation, progress reports, plans of care, and discharge documentation in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with OTs, PTs, educators, physicians, and other professionals involved in the child's care
  • Continue building your clinical skills in the areas of pediatric practice that interest you most

What We're Looking For

Master's degree or higher in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders from an accredited program

  • Current South Carolina SLP license
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
  • Pediatric experience through employment or clinical rotation
  • Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
  • A family-centered approach to pediatric care
  • Experience with AAC and/or pediatric feeding is a plus, but not required
  • Availability to treat patients during afternoon hours
  • PRN Compensation

Your Lead Speech-Language Pathologist: Provides clinical guidance, training, documentation support, and a dedicated resource for clinical questions.

Our Chief Clinical Officer: Provides additional clinical support, ongoing check-ins, and helps foster opportunities for continued professional and clinical growth.

You'll also work alongside a multidisciplinary team of pediatric professionals who regularly collaborate, share ideas, and support one another in providing high-quality care for their patients.
