Job Summary

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology has openings for a 1.0 FTE faculty at the rank of Senior Instructor to Professor to provide inpatient OB/GYN care at the University of Colorado Hospital as an OB Hospitalist/Laborist, Anschutz campus as a member of the Division of Academic Specialists in Obstetrics and Gynecology.

This position will be responsible for providing both obstetric and gynecologic care and surgery in the acute inpatient setting. Ob/Gyn Hospitalists at University of Colorado will work directly with the resident teams, providing supervision and education to our outstanding learners. Shifts options include day/night rotation, nights only, or weekend option.

This position is primarily clinical, but there may be opportunities for academic responsibilities, such as the opportunity to supervise OB/GYN residents and medical students. Hospitalists will be on duty, comprised of 12-14 hour shifts, and work as a team to provide continuous coverage.

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Aurora, CO.

· Board-eligible OBGYN, Colorado Medical License

· Current BLS and ACLS certifications

· Meets criteria for Senior Instructor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Assistant Professor

· Board-certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical License

· 2-4 years of clinical OBGYN experience post-residency

· Current BLS and ACLS certifications

· Meets criteria for Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Associate Professor

· Board-certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical License

· 5-7 years of clinical OBGYN experience

· Current BLS and ACLS certifications

· Meets criteria for Associate Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Professor

· Board-certified OBGYN, Colorado Medical license

· Ten (10) years of clinical OBGYN experience

· Current BLS and ACLS certifications

· 5-7 years of leadership experience in clinical operations

· Experience as a clinical educator

· Meets criteria for Professor at the University of Colorado School of Medicine

Anticipated Pay Range

  • The hiring range for this position has been established as:
  • Senior Instructor: $260,000
  • Assistant Professor: $280,000
  • Associate Professor: $310,000
  • Professor: $330,400

The above hiring range represents the University’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position is not eligible for overtime compensation unless it is non-exempt.
