Key Responsibilities

The Radiation Therapist administers ionizing radiation for therapeutic purposes and performs patient simulations in preparation for therapy. They are also responsible for basic patient care, education, and performing daily equipment quality assurance.

Requirements

Candidates must hold a Radiology Tech License in the state of practice, ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy, and BLS certification. A Bachelor's degree in Radiation Therapy is preferred.
