Job Summary Under the direction of a Radiation Oncologist and in collaboration with other members of the health care team, uses clinical skills to accurately simulate on CT simulators, deliver, verify and record routine courses of treatment. Assumes shift accountability including machine warm-ups.

The Radiation Therapist is responsible for performing routine radiation treatments, conducting CT simulations, and maintaining accurate electronic patient records. They also ensure machine readiness, perform dose calculations, and provide compassionate care to patients and their families.
Candidates must hold a vocational or technical degree in a related field and be a graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program. Professional certification as a Radiation Therapist (ARRT) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification are required.
