This on-site, contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our dynamic healthcare environment and make a significant impact on patient care in a critical setting.
As a Locum NP/PA, you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality healthcare services to critically ill patients. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and will be instrumental in implementing treatment plans and providing comprehensive care.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
- Educate patients and families on critical care protocols
- Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
- Participate in patient rounds and case discussions
- Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols and guidelines
Requirements
- Associate's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
- Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
- Experience in critical care settings preferred
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care
- Basic certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Schedule: 7a-7p
Setting: Closed ICU
No procedures required
Support Staff: Hospitalists and subspecialty support
EMR: Meditech
Must be board-certified
ACLS required
