Key Responsibilities

• Dispense and bill for medications, following prescriptions issued by physicians, dentists and/or other authorized medical practitioners.

• Maintain records, such as pharmacy files, patient profiles, charge system files, inventories, control records and registries, narcotics and controlled drugs.

• Provide information and advice to physicians, nurses, other health care providers and patients regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage.

• Plan, implement and maintain procedures for storing, mixing, packaging and labeling pharmaceuticals according to policy and legal.

Requirements

• to ensure quality, security and proper disposal.

• Advise customers on the selection of medication brands, medical equipment and healthcare supplies.

• Establish relationships with customers.

• Review prescriptions to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients and to evaluate their suitability.

Benefits & Compensation

• Salary: $68.42-$78.89/hour

Work Schedule

• Full-time position.

• Call responsibilities required.

• Night or evening shifts may be required.
