Key Responsibilities
The Pharmacy Manager oversees all hospital outpatient pharmacy operations, including compounding labs and pharmacy satellites, while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. They are responsible for managing pharmacy staff, developing standard operating procedures, and providing clinical guidance on medication use to veterinary staff and clients.
Requirements
Applicants must be a licensed pharmacist in Massachusetts with at least 5 years of retail or hospital pharmacy experience and a minimum of 1 year of compounding experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required, and a cover letter demonstrating these skills must be submitted.
