Job Description

Nocturnist Physician Opportunity – UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center

Culpeper, Virginia

UVA Health is seeking a dedicated BE/BC Nocturnist to join our growing Hospital
Medicine team at UVA Health Culpeper Medical Center in charming Culpeper,
Virginia.   Become part of a health system committed to advancing patient care

Position Highlights

* 0.8 FTE opportunity – approximately 145 shifts annually
* Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
* Closed ICU
* No call responsibilities after shift completion
* Supportive administrative and clinical leadership
* Strong specialty support
* Epic EMR
* Approximate annual wRVUs: 4,500 per FTE

Responsibilities

* Provide comprehensive inpatient care from admission through discharge
* Admit and manage unassigned patients from the Emergency Department
* Respond to codes and in-house emergencies
* Provide consultations as appropriate for Behavioral Health, Med/Surg, and
other inpatient services
* Participate in observation care and diagnostic interpretation within scope of
practice
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality
patient-centered care
* Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives

Candidate Qualifications

* MD or DO degree
* Completion of an accredited residency program
* Board Certification or Board Eligibility
* Eligibility for Virginia medical licensure
* DEA certification

The base compensation range for this role is $335,472 - $398,695 for a 1.0
clinical FTE status.

Individual compensation will be determined by fair market value and the selected
candidate’s qualifications, clinical experience, specialty training,
credentials, and/or education. Please note that the pay range does not include
any applicable incentive compensation programs, such as productivity, quality,
non-productivity, or other incentives that may be available for eligible
positions.
