THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN WEST PHILADELPHIA
Abundant Life Family Services (ALFS) is seeking a licensed Speech Language Pathologist to join our Early Intervention team serving children and families in West Philadelphia and surrounding communities.
ALFS provides physical, cognitive, communication, social-emotional, and adaptive developmental services to children and their families across home, clinic, childcare, school, and community-based settings. We specialize in Early Intervention (EI) services designed to support children ages 3–5 with developmental delays and autism, while partnering closely with families to promote meaningful, lasting outcomes.
Position Summary
The Speech Language Pathologist will provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for children with speech, language, and communication delays within an Early Intervention framework.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide speech and language therapy services to children ages 3–5 enrolled in Early Intervention
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and ongoing assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with EI goals
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and interdisciplinary team members
- Utilize evidence-based intervention strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Active Pennsylvania Speech Language Pathologist license (required)
- Pediatric and/or Early Intervention experience preferred
Key Responsibilities
The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and provide individualized therapy for children ages 3-5. They will also collaborate with families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members to support developmental outcomes.
