Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA)

Key Responsibilities

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant will provide direct treatment to children aged 0-3 under supervision, focusing on building motor, sensory, and developmental skills across various settings. Responsibilities also include documenting services, communicating with families, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to create integrated programming.

Requirements

Candidates must possess a NYS COTA Licensure and a minimum of an associate's degree in occupational therapy assistant, along with at least two years of experience working with children, preferably in pediatric occupational therapy or related fields. Strong knowledge of OT principles, early intervention regulations, and excellent communication skills are essential.
