Job Description
Description. This is a contract position offering an exceptional opportunity to provide quality healthcare services in a dynamic medical environment.
As a Locum Hospitalist, you will be pivotal in delivering comprehensive medical care to patients, managing their treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Your contributions will directly impact patient outcomes and ensure the highest standards of medical practice in our facility. Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality inpatient care to hospitalized patients
- Collaborate with consulting services and other healthcare professionals
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations
- Supervise and mentor junior medical staff when necessary
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
- Follow evidence-based guidelines and protocols in patient care
Requirements
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree
- Active medical license in the state of Colorado
- Familiarity with hospitalist medicine and internal medicine
- Excellent clinical and diagnostic skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to patient-centered care and collaboration
- Previous experience in a hospitalist role is preferred
- Level IV Trauma
Schedule: 7a-7p, 12p-12a, 5p-5a, or 7p-7a
No call requirement
Daily Volume: 15-16 patients, 12-16 admissions
Total Daily Census: 65-70 patients
No procedures required
Strong clinical support
Must be board-certified
Paid travel & expenses
